confirm that you won't scam me

Our idiots at the Central Bank of Nigeria have replied to my buddy's email.

Dear Hassan,

I love the part about Janet White. You should ask for a photo, too, to prove that this is really the man on the website.

Sincerely,
Adrienne

Dear Prof:

Can you send an official signed and stamped letter from the Central Bank of Nigeria advising me accordingly, which can be attached by scanner to an email, with authentication from the nearest Yemeni or Arab Embassy of the signatories accordingly.

It is understood that the undersigned will not be committed to make any payments for any expenses or to fulfill any obligations arising thereof, which should be clearly stated in the letter.

The CBN should also make it clear that I will not be subject to facing any claims from any other party (including Judith White, etc.), if this thing rolls over.

Very truly yours,

Is this for real?

Your mail was received in regards to your inherited funds delivery project as contained in my letter to you. As you may rightly want to know, the funds in question belongs to the late Ahmed Al-Haifi and from the records here in the next of kins file, we have your name as " Hassan M. Al-Haifi " and email contact as the legally recognized next of kin to the late man hence my first letter to you and the amount involve is USD 20,000,000.00. I am shock to my born marrow that you don't have an idea of the funds or were you trying yo pull my leggs?. However, for us to get things legally put in place for the hitch free delivery of these funds, you are required to send immediately the requested information as contained in my first letter to you which includes [1] your direct telephone number,(CELL) [2] your secured postal mailing address[3] the name of the international airport closest to you and [4] any identification document of your person. These requested information should be sent by email attachment to me. Please be informed that we have already commenced with the processes of securing your funds delivery documents which will give legal coverage to the funds when delivered to you. It is imperative I inform you also that these documents, after procurement, will be insured with the National Insurance Corporation Nigerian (NICON) as required by law. You will have to understand that for the diplomat to make this delivery, it has to conform with the International Monetary laws which means that all legal documentations must be in place so that on request you will have no problems proving the source of the funds as being legitimate. This is a safeguard against any seizure of the funds by the authorities concerned as they are wont to do if it came without proper and legal documentations.

You will have to confirm receipt of this mail to enable us continue with this arrangement. I will await for you to send the requested information today and also your telephone call. You are to complete the attached delivery form and return immediately via email attachment. This is a request from the protocol department.

Make effort to speak with me for more clarifications.

I will be waiting for your response.
