If you have a problem with answering the person's simple request, don't expect them to give you a real email address or to call you. I asked Owen/Lawrence whatever his name is for a photo and to explain what Myco is (he keeps changing his name on me) and look what he sent to me. First he sent back this email and then a new one that I supposedly wrote to him. The subject line's "HERE IS MY PICTURES."

This blog's here to show what liars these scammers are. It's not like I'm the one randomly emailing people to try and take their money. I reply because I'm tired of getting the spam!

I just found an email which I had missed (in my Yahoo account: com_sen@yahoo.com) sent on the 19^th of December from the Prof/CBN Governor.

He attached the employment card of the CBN and stated that they are still processing the inheritance. He also said that the "Executive Committee" is discussing "your case", as he puts it. He gave a phone number to call him. I replied that I wanted the documents I asked for, what is the story on them. Note the letter was sent from the Afghan mail account of the good "Governor".

I have asked some of the members in our family about a long lost relative in Africa and they stated that someone did once go to Africa "a long time ago", but has never been heard from. I am not saying that this could be the guy, or that I am falling for the trick but I was curious.

Hello,

They're all hoaxes. The main way you can tell if they are real or not is if you make up a fake email account (like I did) and reply to them only from there. They don't care what address it comes from, as long as they get a reply and they can sucker someone.

One interesting thing to note -- I am getting the same emails from "different" people. The one time I pointed that out to one of the scammers, I was brushed off. In the meantime, it's quite fun to reply, as the emails are annoying.

Besides...wouldn't you know if it was a relative of yours?

You misread my email. I said that the Security Company has not replied to my email. I sent them an email on Thursday and they have not replied.

It is misunderstandings like this that make me hesitant to continue this any further than we have. A Security Company should reply to business emails as soon as they get them, which leads me to doubt that this is an actual company. It's been several days and they have ignored my email.

Besides which, you are still not a member of my church, so I will not be able to help you out financially. I do not believe that you are truly being honest with me.
